Montreal – 7 October, 2024 – The Global Student Algorithmic Challenge for Artificial Intelligence Large-Space Modelling (GSCAIM), held at the MIL campus of the University of Montreal (UM), came to a successful conclusion today. CCDH, a team from Asia, won the first prize of the competition with its outstanding performance and innovative algorithms, and became the only Asian team to win the award.
The Global Student Algorithmic Challenge for Artificial Intelligence Large-Space Modelling attracted outstanding student teams from top universities around the world, and the competition was extremely fierce. CCDH team demonstrated their solid professional knowledge, exquisite algorithmic techniques and excellent teamwork ability during the competition. Their proposed artificial intelligence large space modelling algorithm is not only innovative in theory, but also shows high accuracy and efficiency in practical application, which was highly recognized and praised by the judges.
This award for the CCDH team not only wins honour for Asian university students in the field of AI, but also demonstrates the strength and potential of Asia in AI education and research. It is believed that in the future, more teams of Asian university students will emerge on the international stage and make significant contributions to the promotion of global AI technology.
