The leaves are starting to change as the air begins to chill, and that means it’s nearly time for us Vultures to migrate over to sunny Los Angeles for the biggest celebration of pop culture around: Vulture Festival, sponsored by Bulleit and Paramount+. This year, we’ve got Henry Winkler returning to teach his wildly successful acting class, and our very first award for a writers’ room — the Roomy Award — will be presented to the writing staff of Abbott Elementary. We’ll be reuniting with The Skeleton Twins’s Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader for a long talk, and Julio Torres is coming to chat about colors. The cast and creator of You’re the Worst are reuniting, and we’ll be doing a comfy pajama-party brunch with the creator and cast of The Sex Lives of College Girls. Paramount+ will also be offering a special advance screening of its new series Landman, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, and Demi Moore. Between events, we’ll be partying in the Lot with Chain, a pop-up concept that deconstructs and reconstructs chain-restaurant classics. They’ll be bringing exclusive Jack in the Box menu items that you can’t get anywhere else, which should help you understand how urgently you need to get tickets. This will sell out, folks!

Mr. Winkler will offer what he’s learned in his 50 years of practicing the craft of acting, sign copies of his book Being Henry, and imbue you with the insights gained in his long career as a producer, director, and proud SAG-AFTRA member. Come learn, feel, and, just maybe, grow.
