About the Author

Philip A. Okun has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1981. He has expertise in leasing, sales, development, financing, and property management. He was president of Polimeni International, which owned and developed commercial properties in the U.S. and Poland. He oversaw a portfolio of office buildings and shopping centers in excess of 3,000,000 square feet. Further, he is a founding director of Hanover Bank in Mineola, N.Y., which was created in 2008. He serves as chair of the loan committee and is a member of the audit, litigation, compensation, and fair housing committees. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York and Florida and was also a licensed Coast Guard commercial captain. He resides in West Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife Linda.
